Goose fillet with red cabbage.

Suroviny

  • 2 goose fillets
  • 500g ⁢red ⁢cabbage, shredded
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 2⁢ apples, ⁢peeled ‌and diced
  • 50g butter
  • 2 tablespoons⁤ red ⁤wine vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon ⁤sugar
  • 1⁢ teaspoon ground ‍cinnamon
  • Salt and ‍pepper to taste

Postup

  1. Preheat the oven​ to 180°C.
  2. Heat a large skillet over medium heat and melt the butter.
  3. Add the onion and garlic to the skillet and sauté until ⁣translucent.
  4. Add the shredded red⁤ cabbage and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Add ⁣the⁤ diced ⁤apples, ⁣red⁢ wine vinegar, sugar, and cinnamon to the skillet and mix well.
  6. Cover the skillet and let it simmer for about 30 minutes, or until the cabbage is ​tender.
  7. Meanwhile, season⁣ the ⁣goose fillets‍ with ‍salt and pepper.
  8. Heat another skillet over high heat and ‌sear the goose ⁣fillets on both ‌sides until ⁣browned.
  9. Transfer the seared fillets⁣ to a baking dish and place them in the preheated oven ‌for about 15 minutes, or ​until they reach your desired level of doneness.
  10. Remove the fillets from the oven and let them rest for a few minutes before​ slicing.
  11. Serve the ⁢sliced goose fillets with the red cabbage mixture on the side.
